Overview
The High School Internship Program at JSSA offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in a nonprofit organization focused on human services and community support. Interns are introduced to the day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary agency that provides services across areas such as mental health, hospice care, and social services.
This program is designed to be flexible and student-driven, allowing participants to explore different departments based on their interests. Interns typically commit around 12–16 hours per week and can tailor their experience to align with their academic and career goals.
As an approved Student Service Learning (SSL) site, the internship allows students to earn community service hours required for graduation while gaining meaningful professional exposure.
