Overview

The Climate Change Research Initiative (CCRI) gives high school students the chance to join a NASA research team for the summer, working on real NASA climate research projects under the guidance of a NASA CCRI mentor.

Interns gain practical research experience and contribute to their team's final deliverables, which include a PowerPoint presentation, a scientific poster, and a research paper.

Housing, relocation, and travel expenses are not provided, so this opportunity is best suited to students who live near the Greenbelt, MD area.
