‍Program Dates: Work may be during the school year and/or summer or school vacation periods.

Overview

The United States International Trade Commission advises the federal government on issues related to trade policy. It analyzes topics like tariffs and international competitiveness in commerce.

Student volunteers work with the USITC on projects related to their academic program and can explore career options, developing their professional skills and learning what work is like in the federal government. You’ll be exposed to missions of various federal government departments.
