Explainers are paid student educators who engage museum visitors with hands-on activity carts and interactive demonstrations on topics like the forces of flight and the effects of space on the human body.
Scheduling is flexible and built around each Explainer's academic and extracurricular commitments, making it a good fit for high school students looking for ongoing, paid museum experience.
The program accepts applications twice per year: in the spring and the fall.
